What is Yoga?

The word yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. It is thought to be the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit. Yoga is a thoroughly practical system which comprises a wide range of exercises and techniques.

Practicing Yoga increases strength, flexibility, coordination and balance as well as helps to relax and manage stress. What is Pilates?

Pilates is a thoughtful and precise exercise system which was developed by Joseph Pilates. It is designed to build strength and flexibility, reduce pains and aches and increases awareness, all in aid of improving posture and developing a balanced being. Pilates is suitable for a wide range of people and thus enjoys great popularity.
